South Africa maps

South Africa is located at the southern tip of the African continent, and is fringed by the Indian Ocean on the east coast, and the Atlantic Ocean on the west coast. The country is home to an extremely diverse spectrum of flora, fauna, terrain and climatic zones. The landscape ranges from mountainous regions to savannah plains, sub-tropical forests and rugged coastal areas.

South Africa, curiously, has three capitals: Pretoria (the official capital), Cape Town (the legislative capital) and Bloemfontein (the judicial capital). South Africa’s infrastructure is good, and all major centres within the country are well connected by means of air, road and rail links.
