Barcelona maps

Spain is located in the southwestern region of Europe, on the Iberian peninsula, and shares borders with Portugal, France and Andorra. The country meets the Bay of Biscay in the north, the Mediterranean Sea in the east and south, and the Atlantic Ocean in the south and west. The Strait of Gibraltar separates Spain from Africa by only 13kms. Five major mountain ranges cross the country, and the remaining landscape is diverse, ranging from lush plains to desert-like areas.

Barcelona is located on Spain’s northeastern coast, approximately a twohour drive from the French border. The city’s international airport is located about 12kms from the city centre and is served by numerous domestic connections and regular flights from Europe and North America. Barcelona is also well connected to other parts of the country and European cities via trains and buses.
