Berlin maps

Germany is situated in Central Europe, between the Netherlands and Poland, and south of Denmark. The total area of the country is 357,021km2, and it is bordered by the Baltic Sea and the North Sea. The landscape is made up of low-lying areas in the north and uplands in the middle, with the Bavarian Alps located in the south.

Berlin is the country capital, and is located in the northeastern region of the country, fairly close to the border with Poland. Most international flights to and from Berlin go through larger centres such as Frankfurt or Amsterdam, but there are numerous domestic flights from the city to all major German airports. Train and bus connections are good, linking Berlin to destinations across Germany and cities all over Europe.
