France travel information

France has an enormous amount to offer the traveller, and due to a highly efficient public transport system, is a very easy country in which to get around. France is by and large a safe country to visit, and medical facilities are exceptional.

A number of bomb attacks have been carried by a Corsican nationalist group, and there have been threats of terrorist activity from other sources, so we recommend that travellers check up-to-date information on the Foreign & Commonwealth Office site before visiting France.
